Raga Challenge | Submissions

We were overwhelmed by the quantity and quality of submissions to our Raga Challenge that we launched in March 2021!

The challenge was to sing or play the ascending and descending scales of Raga Kedar, but many submissions took this much further using improvisation and even referencing our latest release, Darshan Do Ghanshyam!

Spreading the beauty of Indian music is core to our mission and we’ll definitely be running similar challenges in the future.

We received submissions from across the world using a variety of instruments and styles. We’ve shared a few of our favourites below!
